Quiet Countries’ debut full-length, No One Makes a Sound, melds broken, downtrodden beats with swirling guitars, chiming glockenspiels and hyper-dramatic vocals to create a sound akin to the lushly orchestrated electronics of Four Tet. Reverent organs blend with Japanese zithers to create delicate yet dark music that centers on the stormy and capacious vocals of Leb Borgerson.
